Tri-Service General Hospital Wins Two Prestigious Awards at the 2025 Taiwan Health Sustainability Awards!

Tri-Service General Hospital has been honored with two prestigious awards at the 2025 Taiwan Health Sustainability Awards: the Smart Healthcare Hospital Leadership Award and the Sustainability Report Award. Out of 44 healthcare institutions and 98 submissions nationwide, the hospital stood out, earning recognition not only for its long-standing commitment and outstanding achievements in the field of health sustainability, but also as a symbol of the military healthcare system’s active implementation of sustainable development since signing the sustainability development initiative with the Taiwan Sustainable Energy Research Foundation last year.
The award ceremony for the Taiwan Health Sustainability Awards was held grandly on November 26, 2025. Key figures including Ambassador Jian You-xin, Chairman of the Foundation, Deputy Minister of the Examination Yuan, Xu Shu-xiang, and Lin Jing-yi, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Health and Welfare, were present to witness Taiwan’s excellence in health sustainability. The hospital’s Director, Major General Chen Yuan-Hao, attended in person to accept the award, representing the hospital’s efforts in greenhouse gas emission audits, sustainability report publishing, and the training of healthcare sustainability management professionals, which received high recognition from the judging panel.
