Tri-Service General Hospital stood out among 232 entries from 47 medical institutions, with its "AI-Based Electrocardiogram Interpretation Platform: Guarding the Heart with AI" project. The platform demonstrates the innovative value and outstanding benefits of AI technology in clinical decision-making. On October 2, 2025, Major General Chen Yuan-Hao, Director of Tri-Service General Hospital, received the prestigious award from Liu Yu-Juan, Secretary-General of the Ministry of Health and Welfare. During the award ceremony, Director Chen shared Tri-Service General Hospital’s valuable experience in promoting digital healthcare and ESG sustainability.
★ Tri-Service General Hospital Wins the First "Outstanding Practice Award in Health Sustainability" by United Daily News!
Tri-Service General Hospital was honored with the first-ever "Outstanding Practice Award in Health Sustainability" by United Daily News, being one of only 28 awarded medical institutions in the country. It is also the only institution in the military healthcare system to receive this prestigious award. The award is divided into three categories: Excellence Model Award, Outstanding Practice Award, and Potential Development Award, and it aims to recognize hospitals that continuously promote health care and sustainable development.
The award ceremony was organized by the United Daily News Health Division and attended by several distinguished guests, including Chien Wen-Ren, National Policy Advisor to the Presidential Office, Lin Ming-Nan, Deputy Executive Director of the Ministry of Health and Welfare’s Medical Welfare Association, and Taipei City Deputy Mayor Lin Yi-Hua, who witnessed the outstanding achievements in health sustainability in Taiwan. Vice Director Meng En, who accepted the award, symbolizing the hospital’s efforts in implementing ESG healthcare initiatives and promoting low-carbon transformation, which were highly recognized by the selection committee, represented Tri-Service General Hospital.
