Tri-Service General Hospital Obtains International Third-Party Certification for Greenhouse Gas Verification, Committing to Net Zero Action

To implement energy-saving, carbon reduction, and sustainable development, Tri-Service General Hospital has recently passed the ISO 14064-1:2018 greenhouse gas verification certification by the British Standards Institution (BSI). On October 27, 2025, a certificate presentation ceremony was held, with Mr. Xie Jun-Hao, Managing Director of BSI Northeast Asia, presenting the certificate to Major General Chen Yuan-Hao, the hospital’s director.
The hospital adopts scientific management methods for greenhouse gas management and sets carbon reduction targets in accordance with international standards, working toward the goal of a net-zero transformation. Moving forward, the hospital will plan specific, feasible carbon reduction measures based on the audit results and regularly review the effectiveness of implementation, demonstrating its commitment to environmental sustainability and its determination to fulfill social responsibility.
