"Since its establishment in the 1968, Dental Department of the Tri-Service General Hospital has been committed to providing high-quality dental services for both military personnel and civilians, continuously striving for excellence. On March 28, 2024, the 'Holistic Dental Clinic' at Tingzhou Branch was officially completed and inaugurated. The unveiling ceremony was presided over by Vice Superintendent Lee Jun-tai, with Vice Superintendent Yeh Chi-pin and former presidents of the Alumni Association of Dental School, National Defense Medical Center taking part as guests of honor for the unveiling ceremony, highlighting appreciation and joy for this significant milestone by all TSGH staffs."

Looking back, after the relocation of the Tri-Service General Hospital to Neihu Main Campus in 2001, Dental Department at the Tingzhou Branch experienced a challenging period due to mission adjustments and relocation to the 2nd floor. With only six dental treatment chairs, it managed to maintain basic treatment capability and capacity. Since 2020, thanks to the strong support from successive Director Generals of Medical Affairs Bureau (MAB) and Superintendents of TSGH, the Dental Department at the Tingzhou campus has continuously developed and grown. It underwent comprehensive reconstruction on the 5th floor, creating a brand-new space with 18 dental treatment chairs. Equipped with state-of-the-art digital diagnostic and treatment equipment such as 'Dental Cone Beam Computed Tomography (CBCT)' and 'Erbium Yttrium Chromium Laser,' and specially designed consultation rooms for patients requiring long-term care or who are physically challenged, it aims to meet the diverse healthcare needs of different demographic groups. Through the trend and technology of dental digitization, it has enhanced overall treatment efficiency and quality.
